Little Luxuries
I’ve always believed spoiling someone is less about extravagance and more about thoughtfulness.
I’m the type of woman who romanticizes almost everything. Fresh flowers at the hotel before I arrive. Espresso after dinner. Sunset reservations by the ocean. Music playing softly in the background while we talk for hours longer than planned.
The truth is, small thoughtful gestures genuinely mean a lot to me. I notice effort. I notice kindness. I notice when someone pays attention to the little details.
A compliment from a stranger can make my entire day. Random acts of kindness stay with me for years. I’m sentimental like that.
Of course, I also have a weakness for beautiful things. Elegant lingerie, perfumes that become memories, books, flowers, gorgeous dinners, anything tied to travel, and little luxuries that make life feel cinematic and exciting. I’ll never pretend otherwise.
I love summer, Buenos Aires at night, long dinners, ambient music, action movies balanced out with comfort shows, pilates followed by espresso, biking by the pier on warm Sundays, and nights where the playlist somehow becomes part of the memory itself.
And yes… I’m weirdly competitive and absolutely hate losing, so if we play anything together, just know I plan on winning!
At the end of the day though, what I appreciate most is intentionality. Genuine generosity. Someone wanting to make me smile simply because they enjoy seeing me happy!
That will always feel luxurious to me.
